Amelia (TR) - Up until December 31st there will be guided tours of the Roman era water cisterns of Piazza Matteotti, in Amelia. The ten vast rooms that make up the cistern complex are a major feat of engineering and ensured that the Roman settlement of Amelia was constantly supplied with fresh water. Open Fridays from 4.30 to 7.30pm, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 4.30 to 7.30pm.

Cascia (PG) - From March 3rd to April 1st a total of ten afternoon shows will run in ten different museums across Umbria. On April 1st at 4.30pm the Museo Comunale of Palazzo Santi will be running Cantare, con il canto, la gran storia di Sant’Antonio, followed by the Teatro Le Onde d'Innovazione in their production of Roditori al museo.

Montone (PG) - Open all year round, the 14th century Church of San Francesco contains frescoes dating from the 16th and 17th centuries and an intarsio wooden choir dating from the 16th century. A permanent display of art and artefacts documenting the history of Montone is also open to the public. Assisi (PG) - From April 3rd to August 10th the Assisi nel Mondo festival will once more be attracting a host of internationally acclaimed musicians and will be dedicated to the relief work of UNICEF Italy. RAI Easter Concert in Orvieto Orvieto (TR) - This year's edition of the RAI Easter Concert will take place on April 3rd in the Duomo, with the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino contucted by Zubin Mehta in a programme that includes Vivaldi's Sinfonia in B minor “Al Santo Sepolcro” for strings; Beethoven's Egremont Ouverture and the Third Symphony "Eroica".
