Rising stars, Todi promising young international concert

In July, n. 4 concerts of classical music. Review in collaboration with the Musical Youth Foundation of Italy.
After a first "musical taste" in December last year, the collaboration between the Musical Youth Foundation of Italy and the Town of Todi continues with a new project and a shared goal: to help spread the music and musical culture, enhance and sustain the young musicians.

Kicks off, then, the exhibition "Astri Nascenti: promising young international concert" organized as part of the events that will animate the 'summer of Todi and will be developed in four concerts of classical music.

The concerts, free admission, will be held in July in the most evocative of the medieval town overlooking the Tiber Valley: Sunday, July 20th at 18:00 at Palazzo Corradi (Vignola), the young YURY Revich, one of the most expressive violinists Russians of his generation, will perform along with Piotr Koscik (piano) at a concert alongside Pergolesi, Bach, Mozart, and songs by Russian composers of the "blood" de Sarasate. The concert will be followed by a tasting of wines from the winery San Rocco.

Wednesday, July 23 at 21:00 in the Municipal Buildings (Council Chamber), it will be the turn of the
young pianist Puglia VIVIANA Lasaracina, winner in 2011 of the National Auditions
Musical Youth of Italy in 2011 and in 2013 the Carnegie Recital Debut Audition.
The program includes music by Schumann, Liszt and Albéniz.

The schedule continues on Sunday, July 27 at 18.00 with the young accordionist Spoleto
SAMUEL telari who will play in the Cloister of the Eagle's Nest (former Monastery of Lucretia).

Winner in 2013 of the National Youth Musical Auditions in Italy, Telari is also recent winner of the First Prize in the category at the prestigious Performers Competition "Città di Castelfidardo". Presents a program that ranges from Bach to Janáček, until the most recent expressions of accordion music. The concert will be followed by a tasting of wines from the winery Villa Sobrano.

On Thursday, July 31 at 21:00 at the Church of Nunziatina, cellist Polish MARCIN ZDUNIK, winner in 2007 of the 1st Prize at the International Competition of Lutoslawski
Warsaw, will present the concert entirely devoted to Bach Suites (Nos. 1, 5, 6).

Musical Youth of Italy

Founded in Milan in 1952, the Musical Youth of Italy is the Italian section of the Federation
Internationale des Jeunesses Musicales, an international organization created in Brussels in
1945 which includes more than 40 countries worldwide, with the common goal of spreading the
music among young people, regardless of culture, race, language. Its activities are wide
and ranges from classical music, which is the base, jazz, folk, ethnic music, to the more recent musical expressions.

The Musical Youth of Italy operates nationwide through its offices, and is among the
more organisms Italian music diffusion and quantity of initiatives (over 200 concerts a year).
