The exhibition will take place in the Sala delle Volte of the Town Hall, Town Hall Square, 06081 Assisi 22 to 27 July 2014. Exhibition will be introduced by Andrea Baffoni.
A selection of artists who have spoken out and express themselves through painting abstract and informal. Four teachers have now disappeared two Umbrian origin (Bacosi and De Gregorio), and two that, among the many places visited in life, have chosen Umbria (Congdon and Tisato) along with six contemporary artists (Dejana, Fiorucci, Frascarelli, Komarin, Marini, Shah), other than for training, operating in Umbria pursuing painting as a form of expression embracing an informal poetic and evocative.
The exhibition is enriched by a section titled: Silver and Wood - Art Meets Matter, with works by Laura and Angelo Bartoli Maccabees.
The exhibition is part of the program of events at the Festival of Excellence Umbrian which will take place in Piazza de Comune and Piazza della Chiesa Nuova July 25 to 27. The Art therefore, bound by a long line in the whole history of the prior art referred to throughout Umbria, stands out among the excellences of our region and look for proper recognition.
