The aromatic and medicinal herbs and fruits old back in the limelight thanks to the sixth edition of "Herbae VOLANT, FRUCTUS MANENT", Saturday 27 (15-20 hours) and Sunday 28th (10/19 hours: 30) September animate 's Abbey Santa Maria di Valdiponte, situated in the locality Montelabate, in the municipality of Perugia.
The event, organized by the LAG Media Valle del Tevere edited by the 'Association erbEventi, provides a range of activities that allow you to discover the world of herbs and fruits and their use, in an architectural context and environment of great beauty and well known.
In addition to an exhibition of herbal products, nursery, food, wine and craft natural land of Umbria, the ancient Benedictine complex will host an exhibition curated by the Foundation pomologic Archaeology Arborea, workshops for children on spices, workshops on the history of soap, educational dedicated to honey and its world, a 'gourmet area to care for a archeocuoco with Slow Food in Umbria and a Theatrical Journey to discover places, products and voices of our land.
During the event, the Abbey, thanks to the availability of the Gaslini Foundation owner of the farm where it is located, will be accessible to the public, also through special guided tours.
