Terni (TR) - From 28 April to 07 May, in Terni, returns the popular festival that celebrates the awakening of spring. The Cantamaggio is a popular festival that dates back to the late nineteenth century and is part of the seasonal rites that celebrate the return of Spring.
The festival, over the years, has taken on different physiognomy and character to become a festival of folklore inspired by "floats".
The Cantamaggio kicks off on April 28th with the Festival of the songs Maggiaiole and will continue with several initiatives to mid-May.
The evening of April 30 is scheduled the traditional parade of floats and in the days following the parade of mini floats.
The 2014 edition of the Cantamaggio focuses on live music and the musicians ternani bringing the orchestra at the center of the event.
